In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and amended French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, data files and civil liberties.
The controller of the personal data collected on the Site is 7 NOTAIRES, 41 rue Saint Dominique, 75007 Paris, represented by Maître Caroline GUÉRY. For any question regarding your data, you may write to contact@7notaires.fr or by post to the above address, for the attention of the data protection contact.
The data you provide through the contact or appointment form (surname, first name, email address, telephone number, subject and content of your message) is processed in order to respond to your request, get back to you and, where applicable, arrange an appointment. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request and, for subsequent retention, the office's legitimate interest in managing its relationships with the people who contact it.
Connection and browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, date and time of connection) is processed to ensure the security of the Site, measure its audience and improve its operation, on the basis of the office's legitimate interest or your consent where required (see the “Cookies” section).
If you send us a job application, the data contained in your CV and cover letter is processed for recruitment management purposes, on the basis of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
The processing of data carried out by the office in connection with its matters (drawing up deeds, formalities, due diligence obligations relating to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, bookkeeping) is the subject of separate information provided to clients when their matter is opened; it is not governed by this policy, which concerns the Site only.
The data collected on the Site is intended for the authorised notaries and staff of 7 NOTAIRES. It may be accessed, strictly to the extent necessary for their tasks, by our technical processors: the Site's host (Webflow, Inc.) and the maintenance provider (Horizon). These providers are contractually bound by confidentiality and security obligations in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. The data is neither sold nor rented to third parties.
The data is hosted in the European Union.
Data from the contact form is kept for as long as necessary to process your request and then, if no relationship follows, for a maximum of three years from the last exchange. Unsuccessful applications are kept for no more than two years, unless you object. Connection data is kept for one year in accordance with applicable regulations. Cookie data is kept for the period indicated in the “Cookies” section, and the choice you express regarding cookies is kept for six months.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, the right to restrict its processing, and the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal. You may also set out instructions regarding the handling of your data after your death.
These rights may be exercised with 7 NOTAIRES at rgpd@7notaires.fr or by post to the registered office address, with proof of identity. A response will be provided within one month, which may be extended by two months for complex requests. If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr.
Due to professional secrecy and the statutory retention obligations that apply to notaries, the exercise of some of these rights may be restricted for data processed in connection with notarial matters.
7 NOTAIRES implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data collected, including encryption of exchanges with the Site (HTTPS protocol), restricting access to authorised persons only and selecting providers offering sufficient guarantees. Notaries and their staff are bound by professional secrecy.
